I live alone with two dogs here. I have renewed my 6 month lease once. The gate is broken occasionaly, but usually repaired pretty quickly. There are plenty of places for dog walking, and I have never seen anyone walking dogs in inappropriate places, such as children's playgrounds. It is also very quiet and safe. I routinely walk at night, and have never heard or seen anything to make me question my safety here. The management is very nice. We did have a bug problem once, which really wasn't that bad - some ants and spiders in my ground floor apartment. The next week, everyone got a written apology from mgmt. and a reminder to sign up for the exterminator service if desired. I had to move in very quickly - the day after I talked to mgmt. about it - and the staff was really helpful. I know it sounds cheesy, but I felt like they were on my side. The landscaping is pretty. They have resident events, 3 pools, 2 hot tubs, fitness center - everything is always clean and in working order.
