When making a move, the only thing that matters is location. Crickentree is super close to 526, close to the beach, and relatively close to 26. There are four bars in walking distance (the closer to the main road the better) and EVERYTHING is close. The fact that the complex is old is a bonus when it comes to noise level, for I never hear my neighbors. The price is super cheap. The complex lists social events as a perk to living there, though the management changes every 3 months, and we have yet to see one (in 16 months). The traffic goes to Mount Pleasant in the morning and out in the evening; if you are going to the Navy base, the commute is against the flow and a perfect 17 minutes.

If you were fed from a silver spoon and never spent time in an urban college town, you probably couldn't appreciate a bare-bones place in the BEST location. One big downside- all of your friends will buy cheap property in Summerville and you will be forced to drive all the way out to the middle of nowhere for the housewarming party and will never see them again. You'll also get really sick of hearing them use traffic as an excuse for being late to work. Hello' There's only one main road out there! What do you expect!'!
