Over all, I like living here. The pool area is great when having freinds and family over. The community grill is a cool idea too, and a great place to meet people. *However, over the winter the pool seemed to be forgotten (by maintance) and now that it getting warmer out and the pool is the place to be. It takes some time for someone to come out and clean it. It reaks! Just getting ahold of someone to get out to take care of it is a hassel. No one seems to know who to contact.
*The fireplaces and wooden floors are a plus! Our kitchen is small but the stainless steel fridge and new stove, microwave, and dishwasher really make it look nice. The bathrooms are pretty but werent made to last. The track lighting above the mirrors is a great look, but when the bulbs go out they tend to be a bit on the pricy side. Not to mention you have to be gentle with the fixture its self.
*We live in the lower, center unit. For a long time our neibors have been for the most part, peaceful. Now we have two single chixs living above us. They get very loud going up and down the stairs. Our room is next to the steps and it can get very annoying when they decide to come home late or have friends over. Stomp stomp stomp.
*The electric bill-seems to be okay, in the summer it can be a high as 175.00 set on 75. In the winter its not to bad, ours ranged from 65-about90.00 per month.
*Every Friday morning maintance comes out and cuts the grass and bushes. Its well kept. There are "Doggie bag" things located through out, which are almost always replinished when needed. Which is great! Lots of pets in here and people really pick up after themselves. Occasionally, dog droppings are left behind but maintance does a great job of that.
*Parking is okay-during the week, but during the weekend it gets a little busy. Never had a problem finding a spot though.
*The screened in patios are very nice too. I leave our sliding door open on warmer days. A nice breeze comes in and the bugs out. The only down fall would be from the upstairs unit. Our neibors are pretty good but we did have one who left their dog out there and his hair, water, dirt and yes pee. Came though the slates. There isnt anything between their patio and ours to catch dirt and such. We were sitting out their one night and the people upstairs dropped a beer and it went all over us. That sucked.

So with that being said if you rent a bottom unit check out the people who live upstairs first. They can make or break an enjoyable place to live.

I must say, most of the things this person has said are postive; however just a little information for the "local" renter. East Bridge is a privately owned condo developemnet, that Yes, use to be East Ridge until about 4 years ago the were converted into condos and sold along with most of the apartments in Mt.Pleasant. With that being said, if you have an issue, such as the pool or your lights, you should call your landlord who owns the place or who is paid by the person who owns the place. They are the service team. This is not an apartment community with a staff onsite.
