I have lived at River Oaks for about 7 months now. I find the apartments to be everything others have said about them. They are spacious with fairly large bathrooms and lots of outlets for all my electronics. My problem is with the tenants. Many people here have dogs. I have dogs myself. I would say that a large percentage of the residents don't pick up after their dogs so there is dog mess all over the place. One dog in our building lifts its leg in the inside stairwell making this place look and smell like a doggie sewer. Some of the tenants leave their dogs on their patios 24/7, this is against the rules but it never seems to be enforced.
