A very nice looking place. Sometimes loud, but safe feeling. A little out of the way, it's a mile or so up a service street that runs next to I-526 (which isn't too noisy, but it doesn't help).
Several times I had problems finding people in the office between the hours of 5pm and 6pm after work. They would just leave early and put a note on the door. This was annoying around Christmas, as I did a lot of online shopping.
I was with them for about 18 months. My last month, I asked if I could get out of my lease a month early since I missed the cutoff by a day to give notice. They didn't allow it. But, it was my fault not giving notice in time. This along with the cost, low quality of facilities (pool, exercise, tennis/basketball) is why I give them a low score.
It's just too expensive for what it is.

I forgot a really imporant part. If you rent here, STAY AWAY FROM THE GARBAGE BIN. They only have 1 for the entire complex, and it get's overloaded daily. It smells AWFUL! And it's right on top of some of the apparments .. I'm sure those buildings have rats.

The garbage situation and mail are a joke. I will say this, you live in Mount Pleasant and are saying River Oaks is overpriced? Are you kidding? Its Charleston, either live in North Char, Hanahan or move to Summerville if you want cheap. |
