I have lived in quite a few apartments in my time and Edgewater really isn't a half bad place. Ok, yes some of the staff are complete idiots, but seriously...just ignore the dumbassery and you will be fine. Noise complaints' If the courtesy officer doesn't do anything call Mt. Pleasant, it actually works so much better! We lived in the very back of the complex, which is where we chose and it was great, very quiet and beautiful views of the Wando and the bridge. We actually were able to put our Kayaks in during high tide and go paddle around. No way would I live in one of the buildings near 526, which is I guess why they make so many of those coporate apartments, or they tend to be the cheapest apartments you can find in the complex, either way it was worth increased rent to live at the very back of the complex.

The rest of the amenities seemed fine although I never stepped foot in the laundry facility as there was plenty of room for our own washer and dryer in our apartment. The workout facility was on par with most other apartment complexes I have lived in, nothing special but an effort none the less.

We made friends with the maintenance staff so if we ever had a problem we had it fixed right away, they are some cool guys and have some pretty interesting stories.
