I lived in Harbor Pointe for two years. The location is awesome... 5 mins to downtown, towne centre. Maintenance always fixed any minor problem I had. Parking was always good unless you came home after midnight. Noise wasn't bad. After all, it is an apartment. People do live on the other side of the wall. The grounds didn't look bad, though there was dog crap EVERYWHERE! The power bill wasn't bad, if you are reasonable. We didn't keep our temp at 72 when it was 95 outside. The sunroom seemed nice when shopping for a place but was ultimately useless.
The only major complaint I have is with the manager, Zelda. The other girls in the office were nice enough. Zelda always had execuses for everything. When 5 of the 8 lights on the tennis court were broken, my roommate and I asked to have them replaced. Sounds reasonable, right'. We were told that the maintenance guy had a hurt foot or something. A couple months later when we complained again, she said it was too windy.(This isn't Chicago) After that, she said it wasn't in the budget for this year. Also, the nets on the tennis courts were falling apart. Zelda would give us the run-around and little was done.(They would be "fixed" and then fall apart again after a week) Only after we put in our 30 day notice were they replaced. If you advertise lighted tennis courts, then for god's sake maintain them! When we had squirel orgies in our attic we were told flat out, there was nothing they could do. Bull#$@ !!!! Call pest control! Zelda would defintely make a great politician.

Overall it's not a bad place. "Luxury" apartments they are not. Thats actually quite laughable. I would probably still be living there if i were still in college. Go ahead and move in, just don't expect much from Zelda.
