I've lived in Harbor Pointe for a year and a half. In the beginning, I loved the place. It has nice big apartments, it's in a fantastic location and it's very, very quite.

Now the honeymoon is over and I'm beginning to see this place for what it really is:
a big, fat dump with unbelievably poor management. I don't even know where to begin.

First, the management is unfriendly and unaccommodating to good tenants. They think just because they are one of the only apartment complexes left in Mount Pleasant that they can do whatever they want and treat people how ever they want to. I went to the office a few weeks ago to discuss renewing my lease... well, apparently I caught them at a bad time and I was very rudely told I would need to come back another time.

Secondly, the apartments are falling apart. Our stairs are probably going to give way any day now. Our building looks terrible. The grounds are littered with broken beer bottles. And there's been tree limbs piled up in a big field for months now. Apparently, they think God will take them away.

And have I mentioned the $200 electric bills'

My husband and I are currently building a house and can not wait to move out... Don't be fooled by the name. There is nothing, and I mean nothing, luxurious about these apartments. Sure, the location is nice, and the sunroom is a bonus when it??s not 105 degrees, but that??s about the only benefits that you??ll be paying $900 for.??
