I have lived in these apartments for over a year. I had grand illusions with these apartments since most of my friends had lived there. I have had NOTHING but issus with the apartment. The water has been turned off in my building at least 2 times; the 1st time was without warning & the management office closed early, refused to answer the phones, and taped a note to their front door saying "do not call maintanence." Basically leaving the tenants without water for almost a full day. There has been other times where the water was shut off because pipes were bursting; once in my building and just recently in two more buildings; I can only assume lack of maintanence. Also the dumpster is overflowing at least once a week from either the trash not being compacted daily or that the receptacle is not large enough for the property; I believe that both are to blame. I have had the pipes back up; my apartment was flooded & really has never smelled the same. My airconditioning line was leaking; I paged maintanence and they never called me back. I wrapped aluminum foil around the pipe & had a pitcher underneath to catch the leak; I only noticed the leak because the carpet in front of the utility closet was wet. When I called in the work order the next day, the woman who took the complaint wrote on the work order that in the future I needed to page emergency maintanence services same day. Can we say not happy'' I have called in at least 3 workorders for the ice maker; it still does not work. There are ants in the aparment; I was told there is nothing that could be done about them (although there is an exterminator that comes monthly, he said they needed to spray outside). Complaining to management is a joke; I have filed at least 8 complaints about my upstairs neighbor's with no results. While I do understand that there will be noise in an apartment complex there is no need to be woken up around 3 a.m. with a dog barking (an extremely large dog mind you) and I should not have to sweep cigarette butts and ashes from my porch. I can recommend that NO ONE rent from this property; it is over priced, under maintaned, and under managed. Good luck to all those who venture into these conveniently located villas!
