I moved into Hibben Ferry almost two years ago. It was a wonderful place to live in back then. It has since become an awful establishment.

1.) Installed very high speed bumps all over the parking lot that damaged many residents shocks. Refused to do anything despite a petition by some of the residents.

2.) Rumor started that they were significantly raising rent. I went in and asked personally about--the manager said I had nothing to worry about. Two months later, I asked about renewing my lease. He said I could, but the rent would be up almost $200 from last year.

3.) Since the price hike, service has gotten worse. The pool is often closed, the office is locked up because the manager is "behind on work," and work orders take much longer.

The justification for the rent hike was the market and a bunch of cosmetic changes. Do yourself a favor--find one of the other wonderful places in Mount Pleasant to live and stay away from this one!

Are you serious?? How can you say the place has gone down hill in the past two years? Because they got new roofs and new siding or is it all of the new landscaping that makes you angry? I know, it's the new pool & furniture or maybe the screened in porches and repaved parking lot that has really made you mad. Wow, yeah that really sounds terrible! I'm about to transfer to one of their Brand New apartments which is the reason for the rent increase. Don't be jealous that you can't afford one! Is that why you are so bitter? The office isn't closed infact they're open late during the week. You are the one that needs to stay away from here and take all of your petition signing buddies with you!

I agree with happybetty! Hibben Ferry is a nice place to live and I have had nothing but great dealings with the folks in the Leasing Center.
