I chose this place from the ads online about it being "resortlike living." I did get shown the 2 bedroom model which looked fine. I was told all the units were being upgraded. They said all the units are built the same and their staff does a good job if any problem. Then after signing the lease I was victim of the bait and switch advertising ploy. I knew I would be in an old model unit but it was NOTHING like the show version. The show unit was evidently the same show unit for over 20 years and had nobody ever living in it. The unit I got had bad carpet with a hole in the hall carpet. The cabinets were literally decomposing fiberboards. The bug problem even with biweekly spraying would not end. Cockroaches (same as "palmetto bugs") oh yuck. And the worst part is the ceiling plaster keeps falling on me. They have been in and fixed places like three times and another section pops off and falls. Evidently they keep respraying spackle on top of old mold and crud. I have to get out of here. Even if it costs me to break the lease this place sucks ---- and pewks it back up. For $945/month I expected something much better than this hell hole. The noise is intollerable because the construction on the updating refabbing noise goes on at all hours. I had to go across the breezeway and tell the psychos to stopp the construction noise after 11 pm. They were all from other countries and did not speek English (probably illegals) So I finally just pulled the plugs on their tools and covered my ears and pointed at my watch. I guess it was lucky they didn't physically harm me but I had totally lost my calm. There is no such thing as peacefullness here. I have been here since September 2006. It is a gawd forsaken construction zone hell.

You sound like the same person that wrote an earlier review. HMMMM could you also be the peeping tom that goes around taking pictures of everything and hiding behind bushes, looking into apartments? What FREAK takes pictures of dog droppings?? Do you actually think it's the managements fault that people don't pick up after their own dogs? You took a picture of a small bug like THAT's some huge problem? You live in the south, near water. If you don't want bugs, move north! You are really something else! The dog dropping pictures are really quite amusing!

It may not be the management's fault that people don't pick up after their dogs, but it is their responsibilty to maintain the grounds. Which if they are covered in dog poo, it sounds like a problem to me.
