I lived here my first year out of college, which was my first year in Mt. Pleasant. There is a young professional community there, as well as an older retired community.
Our apartment was in good shape, (once there was a leak in the hall closet and we had water damage to all of the books in that closet).
Best of all, the apartment was quiet. We lived on the first floor and never heard the 3 Navy men who lived above us. We also never heard our next-door neighbors.
It isn't a bad place to live for awhile, but I wouldn't want to live there in a permanant situation.
