My experience was bad in a large part due to horrible roommates, but the part they don't tell you is that a murder took place there. A Mt. Pleasant police officer found his girlfriend shot in his apartment. At first it was ruled as a suicide and then it was deemed as a homicide. They never arrested anyone for this crime. While I was living there, cars would get broken into all of the time. There are a lot of students who are residents that get really loud at night. If you sign a lease don't expect to have any flexibility if something goes wrong. Once you sign you are part of the family.............

In response to the criminal comments, the death that occurred on the property was never determined to be a homocide. The case was never solved. For specific details, you may view the Post and Courier's recent story at www.charleston.net. The car break ins referred to were an isolated incident where the criminal was arrested. We were not the only property involved in this spree. Otherwise, we encourage you to speak with our staff in regards to lease terms. We try to work with all of our residents on a case to case basis.
