The Legends at Mt. Pleasant is the nicest apartment community I have ever lived in...and I have lived in eight places within the last five years! Whoever has written those other nasty reviews (probably the same person)clearly is trying to besmerch the reputation of a clearly outstanding property. It is the ONLY gated property in the area who DOES keep their gates closed 24 hours a day. I really feel safe here. As far as the grounds, the buildings are all widely spaced with lots of trees, shrubs and flowers to make the place really seem like a home...and NOT like an apartment complex! Every time I have called in a work order for my apartment, the problem has been taken care of the same day. And in all my years of renting, I have NEVER had such exceptional service. The Legends has community rules, which they enforce. Noise is not tolerated, nor are cigarette butts, trash in front of your door or any other minor annoyance that can make your apartment living unpleasant. I complained about my neighbor's trash one day, and the trash was removed and there was a letter on his door within hours. The staff is always friendly and eager to help with any request. They have stayed late so I could pick up a floral delivery and even delivered a package to my apartment when I was out of town. For any truly discriminating apartment seeker, The Legends is the top choice for Mt. Pleasant.
