I've been living in The Legends for almost 3 months and I have to admit that I was a little worried about what I had read on this site - I nearly changed my mind.

I can say that so far things have been just fine. I've lived in many apts over the years and I am a landlord as well, so I've gained an understanding of both sides. When my tenant has a problem, I bust my butt to get it fixed quickly, and so far the mgt has been quick w/ fixing small problems so, unlike some of the folks on this thread, I can't complain about anything.

In fairness, I should mention that I've bumped into a few past tenants, where an alarmingly high percentage expressed the some displeasure because they said that they kept their unit "spotless" but were still charged when it came time to get their security deposit back. I've also been around long enough to know that "spotless" is a relative term, so take that as you may.

In any event, I thought it was appropriate to post this comment because so far The Legends has been a nice place to live for me. The grounds are well kept, the units are nice and large and they've been quick to respond to any issues that I've had. I guess I'll have to post a follow-up post when I move out to see if the rumors about keeping security deposits are true, but as of today I would recommend this place to anyone else and tell you to take some of these more aggressive posts w/ a grain of salt and just see for yourself. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S

Just wait until you move out. I am like you I kept a pretty clean unit for the 2 years I was there. (I cleaned houses for 10 years) As soon as your lease is up, unless you are buying your unit, you will see a 180 from the staff. I was a quiet tenant with no complaints until the day I moved out. Now it looks like I am going to have to set a court date in order to not allow The Legends to take advantage of yet another former tenant. I really hate that this has to happen, since I had no complaints while living there.

I second the comments by pushedtoofar....... all is well while your feeding the maching w/money. Good luck though getting any of your security deposit back.
