I totally agree with the rest of the people who have posted comments about the ethics of the Legends management. I lived at the Legends for only one year before the "buyout." I seriously considered buying my apartment, as I loved the layout and the location was convenient to my job as a teacher. However, upon moveout I too was charged for damage to my carpet. The report said that there was an overwhelming odor of pet urine. I owned one cat and the litter box was kept in the spare bathtub. There was no pet urine on the carpet. But they knew I owned a pet, so they slapped me with that fine. Charged $400.00 to replace carpet and pad. I have lived in apartments with my cat for over 18 years--she has never had any accidents and I had never lost a nickel on my security deposits--until the Legends. Having lived in many Mt. Pleasant apartment communities, I could recommend all but the Legends.
