Thickett is simply outstanding. It was built in the 70's give or take a few years and has been continuously redecorated with new carpet, bathroom tile, paint, wallpaper, decorative moldings, appliances - you name it. I was there from March 1999 to March 2000, left and came back from October 2000 to September 2001. If I needed, I would not hesitate to rent there for a third time.

There are many older trees for shade and lots of azaela and other bushes. The duck pond is surrounded by a wide grassy area and mallards raise ducklings in it.

Ann was a superb manager, quickly responsive to any maintenance needs and really screened well. The community was extremely quiet, clean and safe - I walked my small dog late at night frequently and never worried about safety. I doubt much has changed since I left. The price was unbeatable as well.
