I guess my one review won't make a dent in the "glowing reviews." Anyway, the property is old and falling apart...everytime it rains you better have your buckets ready! These apartments have a serious bug problem that was never adequately addressed. The manager, ---- is a complete pain to deal with...she comes of really sweet in the beginning, but don't be fooled...it's just an act. From what I understand, all the Darby properties are old and poorly made. I would just stay away all together if I were you.

a BITTER employee probably isn't the best source for anything -------.. lol-but I LIVE in thickett. ---- seems oversweet, but she's quite genuine. she's helped me out with a couple binds. the employee that used to help out, '--------' (yes, that's supposedly her ACTUAL name), was a b*#ch. but she's no longer here thank god. and although it's not a perfect complex (they don't exist anyway), the problems are all minor and fixed pretty quickly. they even have 24 hr emergency svc. as far as bugs go? you want an 'adequate' solution to bugs? move out of state. if you ask any 'bug guy', palmetto bugs wander into ANY opening they find. they're dumb bugs. doesn't matter if your place is clean, they're a problem in well kept places too. welcome to the south bud. :D
