We have enjoyed living here at Cape Landing Apartments,Myrtle Beach, SC, except one minor detail that is really a big one with all things considered.
Because of this detail, I would not recommend living here. I have previously lived in a very nice apt. complex, the Enclave in Charleston, SC, ran by Tremel Crowe. I had a two bedroom apt, and received 2 parking permits. I have a 2 bedroom w study here at Cape Landing. They have a rule at Cape Landing that only one parking permit per lease holder is allowed, which is ludicrus, considering there are plenty of empy spaces each night. There are two people who live here, each pays 1/2 of the rent. My partner, had some bad luck 7 yrs ago when his company went banckrupt and was forced to let some things go. We had an apt w The Enclave, which was much more expensive than Cape Landing, was very strict, yet he was approved to be on the lease. Cape Landing, which is much cheaper, did not approve him, but allowed him to live here, therefore only allowed one parking permit, he has to park a very long way from the apartment, even though he is paying half the rent, and would like very much to be on the lease. The other night, they had a tow truck sneaking around at 11 p.m. towing peoples cars off, luckly he was at work. We feel that the rule of only one parking permit for a two bedroom apt is ludicrus, and if he is on the lease, they would give him one, which they will not approve, even though our rent is paid on time every month, and abide by all rules, and so forth. We, or should I say I, have signed a 15 month lease, and would sign again, but now, due to the principle of things, we have decided to break our lease, and go to Palmetto Pointe down the street, who happens to be a Tremel Crowe property, much nicer complex, and just so happened to allow him on the lease, where we get two parking permits, and don?t have to park a mile away from our apartment. Because of a tiny sticker, they did not seem to mind losing a good tenant with a long-term lease, and for that reason, do not seem to care for the individual, therefore, I would strongly advise against signing on with Cape landing aptmnts, and would consider Tramel Crowe properties, incidently I had a problem in charleston over a smoke detector, and the distric office with tramel
Crowe was both courteous and seemed to care about the individual and the matter was resolved in a timely and professional manner.

Cape Landing is the worst apartment complex that I have ever lived in. I was in a bad car accident af month ago and totaled my car. I told them that I would not be able to get in to the office to get a new parking sticker for a few days because of my busy work schedule. They told me that I had to park in GUEST parking until I could pick up my sticker. This place also leases to the biggest scum of the earth people. If you like to live in the ghetto move into CAPE LANDING, you will feel at home.
