Worst experience you could imagine...

There seriously is not one good thing I can say about Flintlake. Number one, the management is a joke. They could care less about any resident in the neighborhood, they are obvious in that they only care about getting their money. When they want something, they want it RIGHT THEN AND THERE, but if you ask them for a favor, such as a maintenance request, you're lucky if you get anything done in a week. The only reason we ever got anywhere with maintenace is because there was a really nice maintenance guy that lived upstairs from us, and I would just ask him whenever something went wrong, and he'd get it done in no time. Next, there are roaches all over the place, it appears that insect control fails to exist. Parking is an absolute disgrace. One the east side of the community, there are spots all over the place, especially guest spots (probably 40 atleast). Residents on the west side of the neighborhood get 10 spots, one of which is taken every night by a big commercial business truck (cabinet company). It has been there every single night for atleast the past 10 months. The truck should have been at the business, and the owner should have been driving their own car home, with their PARKING STICKER, and leave the guest spots open for other residents and their "GUESTS." Next on my list is their policy with moving out. They claimed to have put a notice at our door on this little clip that couldn't hold a paper if a 2mph breeze came by. Since we did not receive this mystery "notice," we were forced to pay an extra months rent because we did not give them a "written 30 day notice." Since when do you have to pay an extra months rent when your lease is for 12 MONTHS ONLY'! Isn't that a written contract'! Also, we had a situation where we absolutely had to break our lease about 3 months before our lease was up, and they would not do ANYTHING to help us out. It would have cost $1000 to break the lease, so we just toughed it out. Then all of a sudden we get this notice that we haven't informed them that we are moving out, and have to pay the entire next months rent. It would have been 1/2 the cost if we had just broken the lease, because they still would've lost money in the long run. Next on my long list, there is absolutely no enforcement on dogs crapping all over the grounds. Every time our dog went outside, I was behind him picking up and disposing of it properly. There was so much "stuff" outside in the grass near our apartment that you seriously had to walk with your head down and look at every blade of grass when walking. Some of the parking was pitch black, which is real safe for young females coming in late at night. I'm telling you, if you move in here...you will soon realize that you have made the biggest mistake of your life. Please do not move in here!!!
