I have to say, I have never thought about writing one of these reviews but after reading a few today I had to say what I am feeling. GROW UP! Many of the compaints I see are from people not living in the reality of apartment living. Even worse is that you expect everyone around you to share your schedule. I know that sometimes I would prefer a little more quiet and yes those parking lot parties when people take too long to leave are annoying but honestly does that not happen at the beach or in the mall parking lot. I just think that we live in an imperfect world and that we all need some tolerance. I am not saying that we should let everything go but that even if you EXPECT the best don't be so quick to fly off the deep end when they let you down. Also, my dealings with management and maintenance have been good. They all seem to care and try to help but I know from renting a condo that there are limits to what they can do legally sometimes and it may take a while to see the result you want. I am proud to say I am a resident of River Landing and I just renewed for another year!

When you are paying 800 dollars or more a month I think it's only sane, not childish, to expect more from the place you are living.

I was raised in rivers landin apartments when i was little, went to garfield, and now currently tring to get a place there again. for the person who put the response before me, 1st you are the one tha choosed to live there 2nd you may be paying 800 but that includes gas water heat and other things(parking,garbage disposel,ac) in other places for a 2 room apartment around elgin would be 800 rent alone and 3rd what the hell do you expect from the area. i mean i love the place dont get me wrong i was raised in that playground, but its not the cleanest nicest place in town. so stop complining. you get your moneys worth and more if your not so picky.
