We have lived at Birkdale Commons for just about 6 months- and have loved the place.
I am perplexed by the other posters, as we have lived here through all the dates shown and I have never seen any police activity other than speeders being chased on River Oaks Dr...
The staff is exceptional, warm and very friendly. Even when we gave notice, they were helpful and wonderful (we have to move out of state for job relocation).
The apartments are well designed and I can barely hear neighbors. Having a laundry room in the apt is heaven, and, although this may sound strange, I love the trash bin/compactor...we never have to worry about overflowing trash bins. Our neighbors vary between couples, singles, families and college students and everyone is quite friendly.
The amenities and atmosphere here make Birkdale a place I would recommend to anyone wanting to find an apt in Myrtle Beach.
