If the manager could find it within herself to tell even one truth, my experience at Birkdale would have been much more pleasant.She tells you what she thinks you want to hear. Make the sale. Bottom line. The assistant manager doesnt stand a chance to make up her own mind. The leasing agents, and there were at least 4 while I was there, seem to be either in the club,the managers that is, or mercilessly used to do the dirty work. I cannot fathom how a property management company would hire such a person.A brighter note was the maintenance while I was there, was wonderful, punctual, efficient and competant.The grounds well kept, pool well kept. The lies about a tennis court, a basketball court, mountain bikes and protected woodlands told by the office staff were reasons for folks to move in, sign a year lease, and then wham. Nothing. If you want an apt. in a good school district, move in. If you want quality assurance from the office staff, forget it. Oh yeah, the gates work now, well..sometimes. parking' where' Towing unstickered cars' Nope. Oh yeah, no more free cable either. The listed price in apt guide is now plus 25 bucks. Rotties and pitbulls welcome. Hide your little dog, half of them are unleashed. children allowed to ride bikes etc, through breezeways. Having sat in the so called business center, ahem,I sadly found out that all residents are fodder for gossip in that office. To your face, nice as pie, once you leave, not so nice. I was uncomfortable, and I dont think they realized I was there. I didnt go back up to use the 'center' again. Oh, there is no gourmet coffee bar, but there is one listed in the apt guide as an amenity. Why all the misleading' I was disappointed. Very.
