I must agree with the last poster. When the old management team was at this place, I loved living there. When the new people came in, they continually closed the office for one reason or another. They closed it to take inventory one day. Dang, thats a lot of paper clips to count to close for 8 hours. On this particular day, I had a leak in my apartment coming from the unit above. I attempted to call the office to let them know of it, and all I got was a recording. I had a true emergency and they didn't even bother answering the phone. I too had problems with my neighbors below with loud music. In broad day light their music was so loud it shook my apartment. I called the office and was told to call the police. I am single and live alone, now why would I want to do that when there are several men below me that could possibly find out I called the cops. I told the office that THEY were the MANAGEMENT, and it was their responsibility to take care of this. The smart mouthed little twit told me that I pay taxes so the cops can take care of it. I told the bald little smart mouthed snot that I PAID RENT FOR HIM TO TAKE CARE OF IT. I too called "Naomi the ----" and she was of no help. Normally I am a very patient person, but it ran very thin with this new company. With the old company, if you were caught not picking up after your dog you were fined for it. With these new people they could care less if these people let their dogs go boom boom all over the place. My neighbors kid stepped in a big load that looked like it came from a horse rather than a dog. They did paint our hallways and patio's. I was not informed that the patios were to be painted and they entered my apartment WITHOUT permission and took all the things in from my patio. A spider built a web under my patio furniture and got into my apartment plus the painters just threw my patio set ON TOP OF MY WHITE LIVING ROOM SOFA! HELLO! Patio furniture is DIRTY and now is my sofa and my carpeting as well. Ont the day they painted the hallways, they had the whole building blocked off. It was hot as crap out and I came in from work and had to go out for a few hours so that the paint could dry. This was totally inconveient for me. The kids at this place run wild. Parents don't care. In my building there was a girl about 15 years old that was "home schooled" she had the mouth of a sailor, and I went down to the pool one night for a swim since it was not crowded and saw this chick and hey boyfriend having SEX in the pool. I didn't touch the pool after. I understand that the chemicals in the pool would kill any diseases but the fact remains that these kids were allowed to procreate in a public pool. I left before my lease term was over because of the piss poor management at this place. Pat if you are reading this I want to live where u are now.

WOW!!! What a load of crap! Apparently you don't understnad how things work around here now. See, the old management company allowed things to fall to pieces. That's why the new management team is busting their tales to fix the mess left behind. The new complex is like night and day compared to the old complex. glad you're gone!!!

How is this a load of crap? The writer was merely stating the truth. See, I lived here at apparently the same time as this writer. As a complex we were not informed of the patio painting. I must say that we were informed of the hallway painting. I can speak from experience that the office crew does inform you to call the police if you have a noise complaint, which I and my neighbors that I have spoken with find rather silly. The general concensus is that the staff is either scared of confrontation or simply lazy. I have a gut feeling its the former. I must confess that the new management company is quick to evict people who are either a problem or don't pay their rent. I had to complain a few times about the people below, it ended up being a domestic situation, and the office was quick to react and they were eventually evicted less than a month later. As with any new company there are growing pains and such and the good comes with the bad as they say. I have lived under both management companies and they both have very good qualities that I like, and they both have bad qualities. As far at the derogatory comments regarding Miss Pat and her life outside of the office, what she or anyone else does on their personal time is their business. So, if you knew Pat was a frequent patron at Ron John's, then obviously you were too. So how would your customers feel that you were spending your personal time at a bar or night club? I wonder if they have a big problem with you all doing it the way you all had a problem with Pat doing it??? Leaves you a lot to think about. As long as Pat was not drinking on her job in the office or while doing work in your unit, then whats the big deal?? As far as the kids go, they do run amuck through the property and when they were nick named The Brat Pack it was done with good reason. Did it occur to you people that they were exactly that.....A Brat Pack. It was because of this Brat Pack of 8 to 12 year olds smoking that the woods adjacent to the property caught fire one fall afternoon. It was because of this Brat Pack that a fight ensued at the pool one afternoon causing the back door to the office to be broken. It was because of this Brat Pack that I had to sit on my patio daily overlooking the playground and watch my son and my neighbors grandkids because they were constantly bullied by these kids. These kids defaced the property and people's personal property including but not limited to door decorations, cars, bikes, etc.. I have just moved as I have purchaced a home. Luckily I got outta there just before the shooting or stabbing or whatever it was took place that I heard about on the news a few weeks back.

I lived at Birkdale Commons myself when it first opened as a new apartment complex and it was great it really disheartens me to know this has happened where I used to live. I also loved Pat. In fact, she let me sign a lease without a job because i was unemployed and just divorced and she told me I would get a job and i wasn't worried because she was right I did get a job and never missed a rent payment. Please let me know Pat's last name because I need to contact her regarding a new job I'm about switch to and they need my last ten years of residence I wanted to use her name for a contact there. Thanks! My e-mail address is tammyrosewp@yahoo.com
