I have been living in this apartment for 3 years. I have seen very many people come and go at the office. Since Rose has been here, this is the first time that all the buildings were pressure washed and the trash is actually being picked up. It sounds like the person who wrote the last review knows way too much to be a "new" person here. Are you a disgruntled fired employee' How would a resident that just moved in have that much information on the office staff' I have been more happy since the new manager came than I have been in 3 years. Kudos to you Rose AND Crystal, don't be bothered by negative people.

I live here too and worked hereand I must say I agree with this last comment. There are far worse places to live in Myrtle Beach. I know that no property is perfect but Rose, Crystal and Maintenance are doing a great job seeing as they have to deal with a variety of people, many of which don't have a clue what it takes to run an apartment community. Keep up the good work ladies and gents. I will continue to reside here because my family and I think it's a safe and clean place to live!

To "Anonymous" (8/21)...do you read and analyze what you read OR just read? Also, readers would appreciate the truth.
First, note the DATE of my note - FEBRUARY '09!
Manager in that timeframe did nothing to improve the commmunity...nothing - not so much as one communication from her with the monthly newsletter.
Second, ALL the buildings WERE pressure washed in 2008 - perhaps you sleep during the day! Trash and dog waste have always been picked up - more trash lately (soda cans, cups) around parking lots due to lazy or careless people.
Third, I am NOT a former employee here, and I have lived here 3 years.
Lastly, the new Mgr., Rose, IS a great Manager, a visible presence on the property, and shows she is on top of things and interested in the community; we at the Abbey are lucky to have her! Also, kudos to our Maintenance crew!!! Now if we could just get some...of the residents to understand the difference between a trash dumpster and a dumpster for cardboard boxes which they need to flatten and deposit in the dumpster.

To the idiot who posted that Rose has cleaned the place up. How did she get her 400 pound frame out of her chair to do any work? Perhaps the work was done before she arrived. No need to worry the complex will return to the cess pool it was before. You go Rose! Have another piece of cake.... mmm yummy/!

LOL... Brains these days go much further than a body. I have not seen any manager do as much in such a short period of time as the new manager! Give her a break...400 pounds!! You might want to go back to school and take a little math. I doubt the job description called for a perfect body. Get a life
