I came in to look at your apts and when I walked in the door and smelled all that horrible cigarette smoke that filled the air and then saw your manager, i think her name plate said Donna, smoking I was speechless !!! In this day and time with all the people who have allergies and asthma I don't think it is appropriate al ALL for the manager to smoke in that small office. I would NEVER rent an apartment there !!!! on top of that she was rather rude. If I were the district manger I would FIRE her immediately !!

telling the district manager will not do anything. We recently went to court with Waterway who clearly broke the law as per SC code of laws SECTION 27-40-630. Wrongful failure to provide essential services. As well as, SC code of laws SECTION 27-40-440. Landlord to maintain premises. (a) A landlord shall: (1) comply with the requirements of applicable building and housing codes materially affecting health and safety; (2) make all repairs and do whatever is reasonably necessary to put and keep the premises in a fit and habitable condition; (3) keep all common areas of the premises in a reasonably safe condition, and, for premises containing more than four dwelling units, keep in a reasonably clean condition. this apartment has no respect for the people who pay their bills, and less respect for those who don't. They do nothing to help you and ignore calm rational requests for things to get fixed, then get outraged when you approach them and tell them to do their job. the manager you are referring to Donna is quite rude and the 5th manager to work there last year. The only good managers they had was the first jenny in feb of 2008 and a woman named debbie, who was terminated for not doing her job, in reality she would not do the district managers job because she was doing a bgreat job I thought. if not for her you would have driven up and saw people drinking 40s on their porch next to huge piles of dog poop. you thought that cigarette smell was bad you should have hit building H and J thaqt was infested with mold, or the broken step and cieling panel that was broken our whole term. I am VERY thankful for not signing a lease. I would NEVER rent from from those people, especially Donna with her BAD attitude !! She is rude and very unhelpful. Thanks for the response !!! I really appreciated hearing form you. Keep me informed of your litigation.
