I would definitely recommend Donaree Village.
I have a 1000 square foot, 1 bedroom apartment and considering #1-you can't find a 1 bedroom apartment this size in Charleston & #2-1 bedrooms are easily 70 dollars more in rent and 200 to 300 less in square feet so I have NO plans on moving anytime soon.

There are some drawbacks to Donaree but they are minor.
You MUST subscribe to the HIGHLY overpriced Comcast. I would gladly pay Donaree to let me hook up DirecTV, but mini-dishes are not allowed.

The lighting on the side of my building, within the past month has not been working but when it is the outside is very well lit & a security camera has recently been installed monitoring people coming and going.

The hallways tend to carry voices, you can hear talking on the bottom floor on the opposite end of the building.
Also, when passing doors in the hallways, you can occasionally hear the neighbors inside their apartments but I have never heard my neighbors on either side while inside my apartment.

The roach problem is minimal, this is South Carolina after all, so there are occasional sightings but the monthly pest service does a very good job overall.

I haven't had a lot of dealings with the office staff but when I have they have been very friendly and helpful. 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
