The apartments are starting to age and as you live in them you start noticing things you didn't catch while taking a tour. For example there are several soft spots and many areas of uneven floors. The he carpet is also pretty raggedy and appliances have also scene better days.

The staff is also very shady. While it was my mistake for not catching it, they wrote my lease for a month longer then I asked for. They also have lied to my face several times and have held my deposit and credit rating hostage if I didn't fall in line.

Umm... did you pay your rent?? I lived at North Bluff for 2 years and never had a single problem with the staff. They were always more than helpful to me and never once lied to me. They offered to change my carpet when I moved in at no charge, and every time I renewed my lease they steam-cleaned it for free. Maintenance fixed any problems I had generally within the hour. I had no problem at all when I moved out. They didn't charge me for any damage, even for a puncture in the wall that occurred when I was moving out.
