The biggest complaint I have for Brittany Place is the maintenance and rude staff (including manager Ashley Self).

The security lights in the parking lot often fail and maintenance won't fix them for MONTHS at a time. The small security lights beside the door to each unit have gone down many times. They were set up on a timer to turn on at night and off in the morning. Instead of fixing the timing, they simply turned the lights on 24/7. Waste of money and shows they don't care (Even though they have a "We Love our Residents" sign in front of the office.)

They send out their monthly newsletter and leave notes on your door, claiming any vehicles not properly tagged will be towed, yet they allow residents with large trucks, semis and 20-30 foot trailers with construction equipment to use up all the parking spaces.

In over a year of living here, they have passed out air conditioner filters ONCE. (These filters should ideally be changed every 1-2 months for health reasons). I had already begun purchasing high-quality air filters on my own, and was insulted when maintenance left the cheap blue fiberglass air filters at the front door. (These filters are so thin and cheap they wouldn't stop a ball of yarn from passing through, let alone dust.)

The staff of course claims they love their residents and do everything possible to make us happy, but the fact of the matter is they do AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE, spending as little time and money as possible, and don't even fix basic items like SECURITY LIGHTING---but they turn around and expect you to pay the rent on time and keep your apartment looking nice...it should be give & take, right' Why should I care to pay my rent on time when you guys can't even fix a security light within 3 months of the bulb burning out'


I have no personal experience with any other apartments in the Rock Hill area, but if I had to do it over again I would certainly find another place to live.

This is funny. I have lived here for a year and a half and in the time this "anonymous" reviewer claims to have been here; they have lots of security lights that work, PLENTY of parking, (if you're too damn lazy to walk a couple of extra feet because you can't park right in front of your door, that's not their fault!), filters have been passed out at LEAST 3 times in the last year alone, and the staff is friendly and will work with you on many things. I have never had a problem with maintenance not fulfilling a work order nor have I had a problem with the staff itself. Don't put any thought into this user's review alone! They were even too scared to allow their username to be used in the listing of the review!? No credibility, reliability, and very little validity to accusations.

Maybe in your particular apartment building, but not mine (I'm not going to say which building I live in) I'm certainly not 'scared'.. it's the internet after all, so you really don't know who I am, regardless of knowing my username. Sounds like MyBway6 is a staff member and doesn't like it when a resident calls them out on their terrible service and apartment buildings. And please don't assume I'm too damn lazy to walk extra feet to my door. You have no idea if I park closely to the door or if I park far away. "Don't put any thought into this user's review alone!" ?? Ok, so then I refer you to the other reviews on Brittany place, the majority of which are negative.

I think it was a staff member that responded to your review. Since I've been there I haven't had a problem with the staff the are a sweet set of young ladies who has a lot of pressure on them. I'm just not in great likens to their overhead.
