In 2003 we moved to North Carolina. Before we moved we cleaned that townhome as good as you could get it. Shampoo the carpets, replaced the burners in the stove as well as cleaned the stove, cleaned the refrigerator and the walls.The office staff(Donna and Linda-snake in the grass!)gave us a bill after the final inspection of 108.00. That they made up just to get back at us.They also turned this bill over to Collectron in Atlanta. I do not owe them any money and refuse to pay it. This today is still on my credit report until 2011 thanks to them.I have challenged this and even offered to pay this just to get this off my back.So, watch your credit report after you leave there if they say you owe them money!!!

They did the same friggin thing to me! They had me clean my carpets and use their recommended maid (BIG mistake!) The made ratted (and they SAW) a stain on the bathtub drain that had been there since before I moved in! They not only kept my deposit but charged me extra for that and b/c they "needed to haul out nine bags of trash. unbelievable!" OK so there might have been a few hangers and papers left behind from the move. I had to get across the state to my new job. I haggled them down to one half of what they wanted to charge me and they had THREATENED my credit. If I'd have had the time I would have blown them off and we should SUE if they mess up the credit report.
