i lived at mallard pointe for a little under a year. the apartment is a great deal for the rent money. the apartments were energy efficient and maintence was timely and prompt. the management was good, but a little decieving at sign up (things that they call deposits really weren't deposits, they were fees). the pool is a let down, and hardly anyone uses it (it's only 4 and 1/2ft deep) which was a plus. i was rented one of the newer and refurb unit, some of units seemed a little run down on the outside. i had little problems will noise from my upstairs neighbors. when i moved out i could see the neighbors were become a little more sketchy. overall i had i good experience. my rent was good for the year b/c we had a move-in special that is pretty much year round that brought our rent to 518.00, when it was supposed to be 565.00. they also welcome pets and really don't care what kind or how many pets you have so long as you pay 200.00 for them to stay.
