I absolutely hate this place! It is not because of the apartments themselves..... it is because of the horrible management. I had heard this from a few people before I moved in here but I didn't listen and I was kind of in a tight spot. Nothing has gone the way it is supposed to since right before we moved in. Before we even moved in, the office received false information about us and dropped our apartment and didn't tell us. I only found out because I called to check up on things. Luckily they had another apartment to put us in. Even verifying our employment seemed to be too much for them to handle without me doing half of the work. The day before we moved in and we went to sign papers, they had our paperwork wrong. They put two different addresses on the lease and we had already set up utilities. So that was another thing we had to go back and change. Also Paces River does not seem to be liable if anything happens. In their exact words......" if a pipe breaks in your apartment and there is water damage, we are not liable"..... then who would be exactly''''' Once we just about had to move in, only because we had no where else to go at the time, more problems followed and we have only been here a month. The gym is a joke, every wire on their machines are snapped. The hot tub hasn't been working for quite a while from what I am told. My window in the master bedroom will no fully close so of course rain dripped down my wall on the carpet when we had a strong rain. They came to check it out, told me they would get weather stripping.... haven't seen them since. I put in a work order for a few things when we first moved in..... I ended up fixing most of them myself because no one else did. Paying rent is the biggest problem here. They say you can do it on line with a card, but if you use a credit card it's 5% interest on it. Also their system doesn't work well so you're lucky if your correct information shows up. And if you are college students who want to pay separately.... like we are.... forget it. You have to give one big check and then have the other reimburse you.

Paces River's "motto" is something about the customers happiness is our biggest concern.... or something like that but that couldn't be more wrong!!! Do not rent from these people. They are rude and very unaccommodating.
