I contacted the real estate company which manages this complex for information. After several attempts to reach someone by phone, I did receive a nasty e-mail from the managing person at the real estate company. This person made me feel as if it was my fault they (the whole firm''') were attending a wake -- isn't a wake only a day or two at the most' After speaking with this person and his nasty e-mails, yet he said I made snide remarks in mine - not sure where he got that from, I was just requesting information. I did state that since they couldn't respond to me, they must have all the business they needed. I do not live locally and felt this is not the way I want to live. Go somewhere else, at least there you will be treated with respect. I am also a disabled person which I am sure they would have discriminated against me if given the chance! I will rate everything at the lowest level, I do not feel anyone should go through what I did. I feel bad that the manager's father died, however, do they only have 1 person in the office' I wouldn't be surprised if the other comment is from them also. I chose to seek information about this complex because they had a 100% rating. It is the only place in the Rock Hill SC area that has such a good rating. Now, an honest person has rated them. This will give them the rating they truly deserve. The managing person I spoke with at the real estate company said that he had checked with the complex, and I hadn't left a message. Well, you know what, when he called me back, he didn't leave a message either! I don't like leaving messages at apartment complexes, they never get them right anyway, so I e-mailed them requesting information and this started the run around. Judge for yourself, you too, will look elsewhere.

I moved to Yorkshire when relocating from another city. I found the place on the web and made contact through the email link. Their response was courteous and timely. It wasn't like the incoherent thing you're describing. As for the wake, sadly, loved ones do pass away and the wake and funeral logically follow. Sounds to me you caught them at a bad time. This company is small, and they do close their offices for special occasions joyous and sad. I think the only fair way to rate any management is AFTER having experienced problems and seeing how they addressed them over time.
