As for the person who wrote the book, none of the things they allege about Spring Creek is true, I have been living here for 3 years, during this time frame, and have never been disattisfied with either the office or maintenance. I have seen the after hours security come out on several occasions, and as for the bldg. without water for 2 1/2 days the problem was fixed the first day that the pipe busted by maintenance, and no one in that bldg. was left without water. All my service request were always done in a timely manner and done right the first time.. I do agree however that the maintenance was understaffed. But always took very good of the property!

Having lived here since for years i would like to chime in. When the Mid America purchased the property we were exited because the property needed a change and they brought just that. New staffing, more activities for the residents and so on. A lot of money was put into the property to update it. They property has been through many managers and maintenance and I would agree that they did seem to be understaffed at time. I'll never forget one of the teams of the past. Sheila who was the property manager and Jeff who was the maintenance everything. Together they had to be the best management team I have seen I have live at many complexes in my years. We had a fire years ago and I will never forget watching Jeff on a fire hose trying to put the fire out. Truly amazing. Sheila was also there to assist the residents who were displaced as a result of the building burning down. It was a sad day when Sheila left and an even sadder day when Jeff left to move on to better things. The maintenance that came in after that couldn't even compare. started to take weeks or months to get a work order done, property was dirty, pool was never clean. What a shame to see something go down hill that quick. Jeff did comeback for a brief time but was then left again. When I asked the Maintenance guy what happened, He said the new manager didn't like him because he was had to many connections with the corporate office and she didn't trust him to remain quiet about what she does or doesn't do. Mid America, you should really look at your properties and and how they are being run. You missed out on something good with Jeff and Sheila. Resident of many years, two owners, and way to many managers and maintenance to count.
