I moved here recently and was shocked that people could still live at such a low cost. First of all I pay less now for everything than when I used to live with roommates. The fact that everything is included in the price is nice. Yeah just like everywhere else if you use too much electricity you will have to pay the difference, but they can't front the bill for everything. I spend 569/month and get free water, trash, cable (including HBO!), and high speed internet. Plus part of my rent goes to electricity so really my rent is about 534/month.

After reading some of the other reviews I am shocked and appalled at what some of the other residents think. (Guess I would be upset too if I didn't pay my rent on time). As far as the office staff goes...they are the best I have ever met!!!!!!!! Lets start with Robin, the community manager, she is soooo funny and tries to make sure that everyone is happy. One day I saw her drop everything she was doing because a resident was having some issue, an hour later it was resolved, and as it turns out, the problem was that the resident was concerned about was something personal. But, because she cares about each resident so much she will take the time to help out. She recognizes each resident and actually knows what apartment they live in without looking. Next to Melissa, not Michelle moron, she is in fact our office diva. She too knows the residents and which apartment they lease. It is really amazing. She jumped through hoops to help me get all my stuff together to get moved in here. She, along with Robin, plans socials for residents (free to residents), often asks for ideas for ways to improve resident life, and actually listens to ideas. They offer little debbie cakes sometimes for breakfast, cinnamon rolls etc. They would do it more if more residents took the time to look into the office sometime other than to drop off the rent.

The maintenance staff here is in fact the bomb dot com! The longest I have ever had to wait for any problem to be fixed was 2 hours. Thats pretty prompt service! Shannon and Sandy keep the place looking and running great! And unlike alot of other maintenance staff, they are nice and friendly.

Plus just to make sure that everyone gets taken care of promptly Will and Brandon are there to take care of you also, they are the community assistants. There may be more but those are the ones that I know best. Plus they are more than easy on the eyes!

I have lived in about 15 other complexes between Charlotte, NC and Houston, TX. You absolutely will not find better value, friendlier staff, and fantastic apartments. I have been recommending this place to everyone and everyone is shocked at the value and how cool the staff is here.

Rent may be 534 a month but that is still high for what those apartments are. For a fact there are other apartment complexes around Upstate that charge less and are FULLY furnished with brand new appliances and the works. Campus Edge is a JOKE. I also agree with the person who said that somebody from the office wrote this because nobody would ever dare say Mellisa and Robin are good people. They are far from it.
