Reading over the various reviews I am totally taken aback. Magnolia Townhomes has really been an enjoyable complex to live with. I found it quite hilarious to read all the comments that these residents made about the apartments, maintenance, and office staff. Ok... I agree the apartments may be a little dated but didn t you know that when you first came to view an apartment''' The maintenance has done a fine job at maintaining the property. And yes there are only two maintenance people but as long as your needs are being fixed I don t think you have room to complain. The maintenance here is top notch. They work hard and all day to make a resident happy. What people need to remember is that it is an older property and the maintenance just may have to take a different approach with work orders than a newer property does. SO guys, I know you work hard, and THANKS for that. As far as pests and etc.. Welcome to the apartment life. Go stay at the HAVEN and I guarantee you will have bugs, but be paying about twice as more for them. Believe me I know. The way that I understood it when I moved in was.. Pest control comes out once a week and if you have a pest control problem to contact the office and they would instruct the pest control people to go in your apartment and spray... I don t think in Avril and Brooke s job description it says, "go check everyone s apartment and see if they have bugs." I believe everyone has to be at least 18 years old to lease an apartment in the USA so, as a legal adult you should pick up the phone and call the office to ask them to do something for you, after all they are not mind-readers. You know people complain about getting notices on their door, but I get a notice on my door too. They aren t the only ones. And when I moved in my first question was, What about the water bill' and I was told that they would be billed to my door. It would be different if those residents were the only ones getting notices. But they aren t, every occupied apartment gets notices. You can t do for one that you don t do for the other!!!! As for the office staff, you know that the people that are complaining about you probably don t even pay their rent so it is totally understandable as to why you have to be stern with them. In my opinion, the office staff seem to be well trained and intellectual people, NOT DITZY'!'!'!' Avril and Brooke have been very nice, and understanding. They are perfect for this property. They are always willing to work with me and not against me as these people say. There hasn t been many times that I go in an office to talk business and I walk out feeling like I made a new friend, yet they still keep it professional enough to run a smooth property. To all the staff at Magnolia Townhomes THANK YOU for making my stay here a pleasurable one, I don t think that you hear it enough!
