This isn't the best apartment complex in South Carolina, but it may be the best Spartanburg has to offer outside of Converse Heights. The carpet in my apartment was gross from the day I moved in, so ask for NEW carpet. The bathroom is also somewhat dark, and the light fixtures are cheap and dated. The walls are paper thin, so I can hear my neighbors doing everything (yuck!) and I can even smell there food when I am cooking. The family below me has about 8 people living in a one bedroom--is that legal' And across the street someone has a rooster that crows throughout the night. But again, from looking around Spartanburg, it just doesn't get much better. So move to Greenville or put up with it.
