Great apartment place to live

I lived here for a while, then went to live with my daughter when she had a baby. I moved from my daughter's house because I had a problem walking up her stairs. A one-bedroom apartment was not available at the Riverwinds at that time so I had to move into another apartment complex. I am now back at the Riverwinds. What a wonderful place to live---so safe, so clean--just great--everyone is wonderful; I feel at home. I did check out other places before moving here; no way!!! I cannot believe the negative responses that I have just read; sometimes parking can be a problem but that is a problem just about anywhere including owning your own home. I have met young and old people here who enjoy living at the Riverwind, and I believe it is how you treat people -- that is how you will be treated. As for the "flirting" maintenance men, oh come on -- give me a break!!!...I have never had a problem with anyone who is employed here. Everyone has always been respectful; office personnel--all personnel--very professional. I would highly recommend this "home" to everyone. It reminds me of a ski lodge/vacation resort -- not some brick or vinyl siding building -- a lovely view with beautiful scenery, trees, flowers, many people take pride in their balconies...just come out and see...and yes, the washer and dryer (and fireplace) in each apartment is an added touch which you do not find in many apartments, there is a security system; in fact, there is a "help" button near your bed which is tied into the security system in case you need help (if you fall, etc)--how many apartments have that'''. Many activities are planned throughout the year; there are so many extras; too numerous to mention. The apartments are bright and cheery with two patio door/windows leading to a nice-size balcony to enjoy during the nice weather and to let the nice breeze in, and your fireplace is located inside between the two patio door so that you can enjoy the fire during the cool months. Yes, this is a great apartment place -- or as I like to call it "home" -- to live.

I hated these apartments and know of plenty other apartments that could run over riverwind apartments any day. Thae apartments are old and you do not get what you pay for. There were constant leaks all the time, and everyone who lives their knows about their mold problem. Also the apartments were built in the 80's and the carpet will not be new when you move in. The MAINTENANCE is horrible. They do cosmetic work and do not fix the problem so it does not come out of there pocket. The manger is as two faced as she can be and is all in your business. They say they have to come and do these routine maintenance checks in everyone's. It is so the manger can be in your business about what you are doing. Believe me you will see it in the weekly new's letter that comes out about what you are doing wrong or should not be doing. PLease do not move into these apartment, they are HORRIBLE and you will regret it.
