The nice location and that they accept large dogs are the reasons that chose this apartment. These are the reasons I left after my lease expired 6 months later:

a. 4 of 6 dryers in laundry room didn't heat up. They were told and did not fix them.

b. I told them about a broken door and 2 non-functioning stove burners when I moved in. They were never fixed.

c. They raised my rent $70 as soon as my first lease expired. They raised it $15 more after the second one expired.

d. They keep you under a lease at all times. They "push" the 1 year lease but minimum lease is 3 months. It costs and additional $50/mo to "go month to month"

e. After an ice storm, they didn't clear sidewalks and parking lot of large branches until "their service" took care of it 2 weeks later.

f. Basic cable is a mandatory, but additional, charge to your rent.

g. They don't maintain the tennis courts, the hot tub is out of commission quite often, and the pool is only marginally well maintained. If a staff member is not available to lock it up at 10 PM, they will close the pool hours early...posted hours mean nothing, and they give you no notice that they are going to do this.


The staff are very pleasant but they You see people moving in and out of this place all the time. And for good reason.
