I rented an apartment from Churchill Commons recently. I was only there for three months. When I moved in the fridge was filthy, the stove was even worse. The apartment was also flea infested. It takes days for maintance to fix anything. And forget about calling the "emergency pager", they don't call back for 2 to 3 hours. The carpets are old and dated, the walls have tons of layers of paint on them. The stove is horrible, stuff comes out of the oven half burnt, half raw. Apartment is small and stuffy. Only good thing about the apartment complex is Brenda in the office. As far as the "property manager" she is worthless.

I almost completely agree with you. I have lived in Churchill Commons for over 3 years, and have watched as it has gone from a nice home, to a constant headache. I remember when Churchill Forge owned the property if the management said they would take care of something they did, now they say they will but DON'T. There is a huge difference between when Church Hill Forge owned the property and now when JARS owns it. My recommendation is anyone wanting to live in the Summerville area should look for a complex owned and operated by someone other than JARS.
