I agree with the comments of the office staff being nice before you sign a lease. Then they stick their snobby noses up even when you come in for a package. The really shocking thing is how noisy, and disrespectful the other residents are. Ghetto blasting steroes, stomping up and down stairs, dropping the garbage from their cars all over the parking lot, dogs crapping and peeing right outside your screened porch, totally unsupervised children everywhere...I mean EVERYWHERE. The apartments are very large but the buildings are very cheaply built. I can hear my neighbors sneeze next door. I have lived in many apartments in the southeast and this place is the worst. I mean the worst!! OH and did I mention that the SWAT team stomed an apartment one day with M-16s and shotguns and not one word as to what the hell was going on!!

In reference to (Ghetto with a high price !!) It all sounds like sour grapes to me. I am currantly a resident at The Grove at Oakbrook and have been for almost two years now. I love it here. Let me address the letter you so falsely wrote. First of all, the office staff has always been professional and friendly with me, I have never even heard of anyone complaining of them being rude or anything less than professional when dealing with the public. As far as neighbors being disrespectful, lets remember the golden rule (You have to give a little respect to receive a little respect). If any resident creates a disturbance, remember you were informed when you moved in that there is a full time courtesy Officer available to assist you with any of your concerns, he's only a phone call away. The comment you made about animals and kids, well we both know that's totally untrue. The Grove at Oakbrook apartments are one of the nicest communities in Summerville, just ask anyone. Now last but not least, I am a Summerville Police Officer with almost seven years experience in law enforcement. When I read your comment about a SWAT team storming an apartment with M-16s and shotguns I took the liberty to personally contact one of the SWAT commanders in reference to your allegation. I was advised that Summerville SWAT has never executed a mission in this apartment community. Not only has Summerville SWAT never stormed an apartment here at The Grove at Oakbrook, neither has Dorcherter County SWAT, DEA SWAT, or ATF SWAT, or anyother police agency. Maybe you need to get your facts together before you write false statements that are so easily verified (Mr.Ghetto with a high price).
