This place was better BEFORE staff started being replaced. Clarissa was THE NICEST lady in the office and so was Ms. Rey. The women they have in there now have real attitude problems.

Check this out: I had to pay a $250 pet fee when I moved in. I was told it covered pet damage in the house. HAHAHAHAHA. My cat messed up the blinds and yet I have to pay out of pocket for them. When I called the office, I was told the fee was for the PRIVELEDGE of having my cat in their apartments. Maintenance NEVER seems to find the problems I report in my home. They leave a note telling me to call if the problem comes back. HELLO, open your eyes and LOOK. I called them for a mold issue in my son's room underneath the window sill. My maintenance report said "No mold found, please call with a valid concern next time." I took it upon myself to take care of the problem myself. I mean HELLO, MOLD IN A 2 YEAR OLD'S ROOM. Another time our heat wasn't working when we had that nasty cold front a month or so ago. I called maintenance at 7am that Saturday and the guy asked me if it would wait til Monday'! Thank goodness my husband works heating and air, he just fixed it himself. I called them back and told them it had just started working out of nowhere. I didn't want to get yelled at for doing THEIR job! They are slack about coming out to even look at your complaints and they never give you notice they will be entering your home. We have an exterminator, but he comes and goes as he pleases and we are never notified that he is coming.

OH, and don't EVER be a day late with your rent. They will charge you $50 fee and leave you a HORRENDOUS late notice on your door. It states that you have 3 days from the date on the letter to pay your rent, by cashier's check or money order, or get out. Then it goes on to tell you that if you do end up leaving within those three days, not only will you have to pay the late rent, but you will also have to pay your rent until the lease is fullfilled!!!! Now tell me, does that sound legal'

The children in this neighborhood are disrespectful, rude, and obnoxious. I have a child of my own and I cannot STAND the little brats that run around in the breezeways, driveways, on the stairs, and in the entranceway of the complex. I've complained over and over to management and NOTHING! Go figure. These kids run around dog cussing eachother and adults. They throw rocks and other items at the ducks that live in our pond, and shoot bb guns at the squirrels. It's getting REALLY out of hand. The office SAYS they've called Summerville PD to patrol the area when the bus lets the kids off at the end of the day, but GEE that just hasn't happened yet. These kids LAY in the road right in the entranceway of the complex. I've almost hit them a couple of times. Then you have to sit there and lay on your horn while they laugh it off.

People's cars were getting broken into and we were told the courtesy officer would be out to investigate. He NEVER showed up! You call the cops for any reason and you getting b****ed out for not coming to the office first. The amount of disregard for any issue at this complex is extremely ludicrous. We've been living here since September and I can tell you that we will NOT be renewing our lease in October.

I lived there two years ago and I totally agree. It is a horrible place.
