My fiance and I have been living in Martin's Creek for almost a year now. Our lease is about to be up and we are happy to get out of there. We have lived in other apartments before and never had such a bug problem. Ants were coming out in the bathrooms and kitchen (not just us, our neighbors to) and I have never seen more cockroaches anywhere. We keep a clean house and don't expect to see bugs everyday. The pest control company they have is aweful!! I called several times about things needing fixed, and they kept telling me that it would get taken care of, but it never did. The staff is nice even though things dont get done, they really are nice. Thats about it.

In response to "Glad our lease is up!"............ I have lived at Martin's Creek for almost 2 years, and have NEVER had a problem with bugs! The pest control service they use is fantastic....very friendly and very thorough. If this person is having such a bug problem, perhaps they aren't REALLY as good a housekeeper as they think they are, or maybe they have refused pest control, who knows. It's just disappointing to read such negative comments about such a respectful community! I agree about the staff being nice.....I think they're all great! I haven't had very many maintenance needs, but the few times I needed something done, it was taken care of quickly (like the same day I called, or the very next morning.) My lease isn't up until May, but I plan on renewing for another year.

I lived in Martins Creek for two years and ALWAYS had bug problems. Its not just the person that submitted this original post.
