I visited my family several times at this apartment and was appalled at the conditions of the building inside and out and also at the conduct of some of the neighboring tenants. For example, the shower off the master bedroom had paint and ceiling material which fell on my head while taking a shower; not to mention the stench of mildew growing throughout the entire bathroom as well as the adjoining closet. The floors were always soaked from leaking water and things that were stored in the closet became ruined from the leaking water and mildew. This is a grossly unsanitary condition for any family to have to live with; and, maintenance promised to come and remedy this situation but never showed up during the entire time they lived there to fix anything. My granddaughter's bicycle was stolen from the balcony by a child of another tenant; as I was the one who caught the child several buildings away...walking away with the bicycle in the opposite direction. Some children living in the same building set fire to something outside the apartment which consequently burned through the wiring of the air-conditioning unit so there was bare wire showing---and once again there was no help from the apartment management or maintenance to remedy this situation except for one wire which was replaced...leaving the remaining wires, which were connected to other tenants' apartments, still bare and in disrepair. Children from the upstairs apartment threw
burning cigarettes, burning paper, banana peelings, and raw eggs onto my family's balcony. One neighbor's child continually cursed my daughter and grandchildren; sometimes in my presence. Each time management was asked to intervene; nothing was done to remedy the situation. One neighbor had a freezer full of rotten food (due to the freezer being unplugged) for over two weeks, while my daughter's family (and others living in the same building) were subjected to the foul odors and unsanitary environment. At times, the odor was so bad, it made my family nauseated enough to begin vomiting. This is the most disgusting and appalling living situation I have ever seen; and, I do not believe that any family should be subjected to such treatment, especially without anything ever being done to correct the problems.
