Expect to get to know your neighbors very well since you will be hearing every word they say through the paper thin walls. Expect your utility bills to be as high as the rent since there is virtually no insulation. Expect to get to know the local police very well as they come to your building to round up drug dealers and hand out warrants. The pool water is usually avacado green most of the year. The cabinetry is made of press board that is flaking off all over the contents of the cupboards. Expect to clean everything in them before use and don't expect the cheap dishwashers to be able to clean anything. There is no resident management. What management does exist is hard to find, unprofessional and unskilled. Because of these factors and more, the turnover rate is super high. Someone is moving in or out of each building almost constantly. This is one of those apartments where people bbq in the breezways without any regards for anyone else. Avoid at all cost!
