I have lived at Waters Edge for nearly a year. When my lease is up in March - I'm gone. In nine months they've gone through at least 3 managers. I moved from out of state and did not have the opportunity to visit the property before moving in. Things look nice on the outside, but that's about it. Units need updating badly for the price you pay, and I can hear just about every move my upstairs neighbors make. There are places in the floor that feel like they'll cave in. I was told when I reserved my apartment that it backed up to the woods - they didn't mention that the "woods" fronted onto Dorchester Road, a very busy 4 lane road. The noise is very bothersome. I've slept with earplugs in for the past 9 months. When I first moved in, it took them a week to fix the smoke alarm. I've had another maintenance request in for months - I decided to give up. When they do come out, they don't try and make any appointments with the renter (I have a dog)which I find to be rude. I didn't want to move immediately after my lease ran out, but they'll charge me an extra $115 per month for a month-to-month basis. It's not worth the money I pay now!
