I have not lived at Westbury Mews, however my late sister did live there from 1996 until her death in May, 2009. She was a complainer and found fault with just about everything, but she never had anything but good things to say about the staff and management of the apartments. When I helped her move in 1996, the complex was fairly new and very well maintained. During the intervening years on visits, the complex was still very well maintained and still looked new. There were never any safety or security issues that I was aware of. When she was taken ill several times in the past year, I notified the manager who visited her in the hospital and took her mail to her. As I live 1,000 miles away, the management and staff looked after her like she was family. Just prior to her death, I was talking to her on the phone and she said she had slumped over in her chair and could not move. I called the office and the maintenance man got her settled and comfortable. After she passed away, the management and staff helped us tremendously when we came to remove her belonging from the unit. (the mgr. even helped us in cleaning and sorting in her day off). If I were to move to South Carolina I would have no reservation moving into Westbury Mews.
