I'm not a resident, but we looked at one of their apts. today & a new company out of CA just bought the place about 3 weeks ago, the office lady is very nice & helpful (she just started there 5 days ago-found out because she was apologetic about not knowing the answer to the question of whether the ceiling fans in the 2nd floor apts. have lights on them). It is a very nice looking, grounds & buildings well maintained complex, and it is gated. Anytime I've driven by in the evening or around dusk (we drive by there almost every day), the gates are locked-I even tried the gates once to make sure they really do stay locked & had to turn around in the entrance, LOL!
These apts. were probably built in the late 70's, guessing from the architectual style, but have obviously been remodeled in recent years because everything looks nice, not run down & dark.
One thing, if it matters to anybody looking, is that there are no overhead light fixtures in the living room or bedrooms. But about half the complexes I've looked at (there've been a lot over the years) don't have overhead lighting in those rooms. And there is a nice "spotlight" set in the ceiling over the dining area, plenty of kitchen & bath lighting, and there is a 3-seperate-thing (you can point any of the 3 lights in different directions, like a spotlight) over the bar between the LR & kitchen.
Patio is nice & roomy, all the apts. (I'm pretty sure, the 2 BR's anyway) have fireplaces, lots of storage space & closets, kitchen has plenty of cabinets, the MB's bathroom (all the 2 BR have 2 baths) has a sink seperated from the toilet/bath area by a door. Nice little dressing area.
Hope this is helpful... I know there are some bad reviews on here, and previous problems with management, but just wanted to let everyone know that there is a new owner company, new management, and the office lady told us the new owner flew here yesterday & is planning on doing some repainting, remodeling, changing things around to make it nicer, etc.
BTW, my husband and I are planning on renting, we're turning in the app. on Monday.
The rent is going to go up though, probably close to $700. (that's why we're going ahead & turning our app in). So don't be expecting the rent to be this cheap because we got a today-only deal.

I moved there a month ago and thought the display looked nice as well. First off...The three light thing yoru talking about, will not be in your apartment. I have had problems with bugs in my apartment. I've also had problems with the tile in my front door area, both bathrooms and kitchen. I've asked THREE times when this is going to be fixed and Liz (apartment manager) is never sure. She always uses the exscuse that she's soo busy. She's only so busy because she never follows through with anything. When you call the office, she never answers. It took her a week to finally walk over to my apartment and look at the tile, and even though the tile by my front door and bathrooms are coming up, the only tile that is being replaced is the kitchen. The AC unit doesn't work very well. The guys who fix stuff tracked mud and grease in and didn't even notice. I wish I would have moved into the apartment I was orginally thinking of..
