Not a Bad Place

I have lived at East Ridge Estates for 7 months. Really, it is a very nice apartment complex; I have lived in several different ones in the Greenville area, and my apartment here is the nicest one I have had. It is especially a good value for the money. My apartment is very similar to a couple of houses I owned before, both in usable square footage and amenities. I love the fireplace and the size of the kitchen, also the washer-dryer hookups. The front porch is the size of another room, and the carpet in my apartment appears to be very close to brand new, much nicer than any of the other apartments I have rented in this area.
I am kind of shocked at the anger in some of the other reviews; my own experience has not engendered that kind of anger in me at all. I hope all of the anger directed against this apartment complex and the management company gets turned around; it really seems unwarranted. No apartment is perfect, but believe me, the same is true when you own a house. At least with an apartment, there is no mortgage to deal with if, God forbid, there is a problem. Try talking to the manager; he is a reasonable and decent man. Also, the owner of the management company seems like a very nice lady; she does what she says she will do anyway. By the way, I am only a tenant; these folks did not ask me to say nice things about them. I barely know them.
