My husband and I moved here last year from a very, very unsafe part of town so this place seems like a safe haven to me as far as safety issues go. The biggest problems we've had so far have been maintanance not taking care of some issues we've had in the apartment. We've gone to them several times about two different things (not major) and nobody has been by to check them out. This has been months ago. Also, some of the tenants are disrespectful about picking up after their dogs. It's like trying to avoid landmines when you walk on the grounds, especially behind our building. I've found a lot of cigarette butts on the wooden stairs and on the ground which is a safety concern. There is a rule about both the cigarette butts and the dog poop but I don't think they enforce it. I've found several empty or half empty beer bottles/cans on the ground where a child could easily pick it up and drink it or get cut. Some new neighbors moved in and they've been pretty loud and disrespectful...talking loud at all hours of the night on their patio or by their door..etc. We're definitely looking to move soon. Our rent jumped up quite a bit because we signed a month to month lease due to job issues. The grounds are fairly well kept, and so is the pool. It's not a bad place to be but it's not the best. It's definitely not worth the high rent, though.
